Sleeper diaries · 6 people

Twenty-seven nights, in their own words.

Every volunteer wrote two lines each morning. Six agreed to publish theirs in full, under names they chose. Each diary comes with one of their nights, drawn from the ring.

The night, minute by minute

Where each diarist sits in the night.

The filled shape is everyone asleep at that minute. The ticks on the rim show when people went to bed. Night-shift sleepers make the second, smaller shape after sunrise.
